Update 05/19/2012: Justin Page is no longer an AMS admin. He is still an AMS member and will continue racing with us. There are no hard feelings between Justin and AMS and we wish him the best of luck on all future endeavors.
We have a great league, with drivers of all skill levels. Yes, some races have had more cautions/wrecks than we would like to see, but with time, we feel that with each race, that will get better and better. We are not the iRacing Pro-Series, but we all are trying to do the best that we can.
One issue that the staff and members have is with certain comments etc, that be-littles or puts down the league, the staff or other members. That cannot be tolerated.
We are all here to have fun, yet be competetive to finish the best we can.
With that being said, during official league races, the comments/texts should be kept to in race topics. Remember, the league does have a Code of Conduct.
...
After many negative comments (in race and public venues) and a certain video bashing the league, the staff and its members, the staff has made a decision to put Austin Ogonoski on a three (3) week suspension and probation for the remainder of the season.
This decision was NOT made lightly.
As stated above, we are all here to have fun, yet be competetive. Sure, sometimes if you get wrecked, a quick comment might be said....that's understandable, but any lengthy discusions should wait until after the race.
We appreciate all of the members of AMS and the dedication and profesionalism that has been shown. Good Luck to all at Pocono next week. Thanks, The AMS Staff
RULE CHANGE!!!! ACTIVE AS OF NOW!!!
The staff has removed the old rule of three cautions and you get a black flag (Stop and go) and four and your dq'd and has replaced it with if you're the cause of two (2) cautions during the race you will receive a stop and go black flag and on your third caused caution you would be removed from the race! Please remember if its too close to call during the race you could still lose position after the race in the post race review of the replay or if you don't own up to a caution you may have clearly caused. This rule is effective immediately!
A MESSAGE FROM THE STAFF!!
While we have had some good racing thus far this season we have had quite a bit of racing taken away from us due to not overly smart moves. We are not here to dictate how you should model your driving style at all some people are conservative others are a bit of both, others don't own up for things they do and others can be aggresive or stupidly aggresive to put it bluntly and than proceed to (whine, moan, bitch and complain) when they get wrecked due to a spot they have put them selves in! After spending a lot of post race meetings reviewing the footage and reviewing it again for nearly two hours this morning.
Two things are perfectly crystal clear and that is # 1 a lot of drivers including those that are running up front just aren't getting enough practice in and are driving out there not realizing the postions they are putting themselves in and not understanding that they are either wrecking themselves or could be wrecking themselves even more if it weren't for other drivers backing off when they make there ill advised moves! Secondly we are having people trying to win the race in the first 30 laps and you can't do that but you can sure as heck lose it for yourself and others that early! There is no reason to cut in between two cars with very little room making it 3 wide in the first 30-40 laps of a race at places like Dover and Charlotte and that has happened almost a DOZEN times at the last two tracks we have been at, and thats just way too much! Patience guys Patience! You don't have to even change your driving style but be smart and think about what your doing before doing it and we will get more clean racing in. We know the caution #'s aren't terrible by any means with the exception of Dover of course but there are still people getting wrecked where the caution doesn't come out and that's not accounted for!
Also you have some guys hanging back on restarts way too far back and causing a lot of back up to drivers that don't want to be in that position. If you would like to restart at the back for whatever reason please ask for a EOL.
Also in terms of suspensions when a driver is suspended or has been handed punishment of some sort they are allowed to appeal. Regardless of what the rules may say we clearly stated that ultimately each choice on a situation is discussed as a staff and the right decision is made! We don't ask you to agree with but we do ask you to respect that choice. If you feel you have been wronged your welcome to attempt to appeal it so long as you have evidence of your claim. Showing up in a race room that you know and you have been informed your suspended for and asking for someone else to be suspended is not only wrong it's ignorant and it be little's that driver, yourself and the league! The staff as stated at the beginning of try outs three months ago has final say on EVERYTHING.
In closing guys I truly believe we have a great group of guys here to race with that each bring something different to the table. I personally think though some people need to take a step back take a look at themselves in the mirror and realize things they're doing that they probably shouldn't be and just trying to work on them. You don't have to spend hours on end practicing a track. Just spend 15-20 minutes even a half hour on a track in a test room to get the feel of the track and your car or truck. There isn't a person in this league that can't say they don't have the time to do that. They don't have to practice the day of they could do it a week before.. There is always a little time... This post was not addressed at members alone. It very much applies to all staff members as well myself and Chris included! So lets pull up our socks here guys and get back to the type of racing we had in the pre-season and have some Fun!
Thank you..
Sincerely Shawn, and The AMS Staff

On behalf of Chris Ostrander , Justin Page and the other Admin's as well as myself are saddened to announce The Termination of Greg Elliott's Administration position at Anarchy Motorsports Server. Mr. Elliott is not being removed from the league however he will be on Probabtion for the first 6 Cup Series and Truck Series events of the season.
The league Owners and Staff felt like we had no other choice to make but this one. We will not reveal the details as to what was the cause for Mr. Elliott's Termination to protect his and the league's integrity. Mr. Elliott will be able to apply for a staff position in the future if all remains well.
...
Thank You,
AMS.
